Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has indicated Manchester United are very close to signing another striker before the transfer deadline expires.
The United boss believes that in order to compete, a squad must have four top class strikers and says a lot of work has been going on behind the scenes in order to bring one more to Old Trafford.
"We are working on bringing in another top striker," Ferguson told United Review.
"Having added strength up front is a situation I really enjoy.
"Ideally I like to operate with four experienced strikers, as we did when we won the Treble, when we had Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.''
