British newspaper the Daily Mirror claims that Dubai Investment Capital are close to completing their takeover of Liverpool FC after issuing an improved offer to co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
DIC front men, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, are said to be ready to hit out £460m for the reds.
Hicks and Gillett could walk away with a nice 42 Million pound profit from the deal.
Rumours also coming from Anfield this week, Javier Mascherano's agent has said, Barcelona can talk to him anytime in regards of his future services.
