The young duo arrived from Sporting Lisbon and Porto, only last summer and Man Utd boss, Ferguson believes he has seen 'evidence' that these youngsters have the potential to become long-term fixtures in the Man United side.
Anderson sat out United's excellent 5-1 Premier League victory over a poor Newcastle on Saturday but the 19-year old has caught the eye since arriving in England in July 2007
Ferguson does admit Nani , who completed a full 90 minutes at St James' Park, has required more time to adapt to the English game but the United boss feels the 21-year-old is also beginning to demonstrate his potential.
Ferguson said this week to Skysports:
"We are very pleased with their progress," said Ferguson.
"The evidence is there for you. Anderson has exploded into it while Nani has taken his time.
"He has got better and better, the boy. He is a different type of player, of course, and both are doing well."
