Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is ready to make official bids for his top transfer targets. It's likely that Liverpool will make attempts to sign Aston Villa's Gareth Barry and Tottenham striker Robbie Keane.
Liverpool will have to fork out around £35m for the duo. It's estimated Barry will cost the reds £18m and Keane £17m. Aston Villa have told Liverpool, if they meet there evaluation of Gareth Barry, then he will be allowed to leave the club. But it might be a little more difficult capturing Robbie Keane.
Robbie Keane has admitted he would love the chance to play Champions League football with Liverpool.
"I haven't heard anymore," O'Neill told Sky Sports News. "We should be in communication with Liverpool, but he is coming back (to training)."
