Chelsea captain John Terry hopes his teammate and good friend Frank Lampard will snub a move to Inter Milan and stay at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea next season.
Lampard looks as if he will be heading to Inter to join up with former boss Jose Mourinho but Terry is desperate for him to remain at the Bridge.
Lampard will decide in the next week where his future lies and was said to be upset with not being offered a long term deal with the Blues.
Club captain Terry commented "I'm very good friends with Frank and we have spoken about it, but the situation is ongoing with the club and Frank," said the England defender.
"The players and the fans all want him to stay, but it's down to Frank and the club to sort it out. ''
