Blackburn Rovers have given the green light to the top clubs in the Premiership to make a bid for David Bentley by saying that they have not put a price on the right winger.
So far Spurs and Villa have been the only clubs to make an official bid and they have both been rejected, now it seems Blackburn are resigned to losing their top star and have opened the doorway to clubs to start making serious bids. The likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool have all been linked with Bentley.
Blackburn fan and chairman John Williams said "Contrary to speculation in the media, we have not put a price on David's head because we don't work like that,"
"The situation is we have had two bids for David, both of which have been rejected.
"However, if we got a bid that was in line with current market values, then we will refer it to Paul Ince and it becomes a football decision after that.''
