The Arsenal Boss has some big selection concerns today. Wenger has admitted his team selection for today's FA Cup clash against Manchester United will be a very careful balancing act.
Arsenal visit Old Trafford with just 14 fit outfield players with another eight members of the team missing through injury or International duty. Arsenal will play AC Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League this Wednesday. They will be hoping for know more injuries.
Wenger said: "We have a tricky week because we face Milan and then Birmingham, but we play United first and want to win that one too.
"We will put out the strongest team possible but are severely affected by injuries.
"It's a period when you don't want to lose players because these are decisive months.
"If you lose players now they could be out for the rest of the season."
"At the moment there are only six Premier League teams still in the FA Cup.
"The winner today has a big chance to win the trophy.
"It could be a decider for one of the teams in the final because there are so few Premier League teams left."
"I wanted a small team at home, but that is the charm of the cup.
"Sometimes it's easier to play away against a big team because they have to come at you so you get some space.
"What we don't want at the moment is a draw because we have fixtures and we have a small squad."
He said: "I believe we are at a stage where we can't choose a competition and favour it over another.
"It's too early in the season. We are in good positions in all of them so let's just continue to do that."
